I am seen using a 90 degrees drilling tool as well.
Due to the limited space available for drilling, i used an extended #40 drill bit as shown here.

I assembled the aileron bellcrank as per manual and clecoed it to the aft spar at the appropriate position together with the inboard aileron hinge.

The nose ribs' rivet holes at station 69 and 144.95 are enlarged to #30 size (both upper and lower wing surface)

Here , i took out the whole leading edge assembly to ease the placement of clecoes to the relevant rivet holes.

I am seen drilling both the forward and aft spar rivet holes of the lower left wing to #30 size.

With the lower centre skin placed into position, i started to drill the stringer channel to the skin , making sure that the centreline markings are always visible through the pre-drilled rivet holes.

History repeats for the lower portion of the left wing...: the trailing edge is inverted..note the aileron cove ribs)

I now have all the left upper nose ribs' rivet holes are drilled up to #40 size.
Now the nose ribs' rivet holes are drilled to #40 size..this is the left upper inboard leading edge.

As seen here, even the aft spar rivet holes are drilled to #30 size.

11 Oct 08. Back in KL again since my last trip here end of July. I am seen here drilling the upper forward spar rivet holes to #30 size.
